Responsibly sourced Scottish Salmon -

Facts about our freshly prepared Scottish Salmon include:
Scottish Salmon swim further and develop more muscle
A well known oily fish, Salmon contains fish oils which are known for being high in health promoting omega-3 essential oils.
Omega-3 fatty acids are essential for dogs’ growth and brain and vision development, especially in young dogs and then, later in life, they work to support joint
health by reducing inflammation and easing joint pain.
Just like it is for us humans, Fish is an excellent source of protein for dogs and helps to support strong muscles whilst playing an integral role in the functions of your
dog’s body.
Relatively low in saturated fats and easily digestible due to the healthy fats contained within, Salmon will help your dog's body in absorbing fat-soluble vitamins,
minerals, and other nutrients both contained within the Salmon itself and from other foods consumed by your dog.
It doesn’t stop there either, Salmon really is the protein that keeps on giving....
By providing optimal amounts of salmon in your pets diet you’ll be ensuring that your beloved companion receives the required quantities of vitamins such as iron,
potassium, calcium, vitamin B12 and Selenium.
Salmon is a softer flesh fish that absorbs lower quantities of metals such as mercury than other fishes used in the dog food industry making it often a great choice.
These oils work in the body to lubricate joints and ligaments. They also have an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effect. They keep the skin hydrated and radiant
Salmon, or in particular the oils it contains, nourish your dogs coat and skin, restores balance to the skin’s pH levels and creating a lustrous, shiny coat it’s often
used in recipes for dogs who have skin problems
The beneficial properties of Salmon also often see it incorporated into the diet of long coated dogs to create more manageable coats.
Salmon tends to be easily digestible and agreeable, even in dogs who are easily irritated so it’s often fed to dogs with sensitive stomachs, moreover, if your dog is
suffering from specific meat allergies, fish can play an excellent replacement part.
Salmon Has Anti-Inflammatory Properties
Salmon is loaded with other vitamins, too. Here are the main ones along with the benefits
Vitamin A—for bone and immune health
Vitamin B—promotes cell health
Vitamin D—regulates calcium absorption
Vitamin E—for skin and coat health

Grass fed Angus Beef -

Grass fed Angus Beef - the best of the best.
Grass fed cattle spend longer growing, spend more time grazing outdoors in their natural habitat and live a longer and more contented life which in turn produces a
healthier, more nutritious protein with higher levels of heart healthy omega 3 fatty acids, more omega 6 fatty acid and more antioxidant vitamins such as vitamin E.
Beef is regarded as one of the most highly digestible, highly palatable meat sources for modern day dogs
It’s an excellent protein source whilst also being high in the essential vitamins and minerals which are required for a canine's well-rounded diet.
Renowned for being a quality source of protein which assists your dog building and maintaining muscle both in puppyhood and old age in addition to being a natural
source of glucosamine which supports joint health and mobility.
Whilst grass fed beef has lower fat content than less desirable grain fed cattle the fat which is retained helps your dog feel full and content for longer whilst also
delivering vitamins and minerals which are proven to help keep your dogs coat and skin in tip top condition.
An excellent source of Zinc, Iron, Selenium and Vitamins B12, B3 and B6 it really is difficult to argue that beef wouldn’t be a great addition to, or mainstay, of your
beloved companions diet.

Beef in the pet food industry

In pet food, beef can be used as a fresh meat (fresh beef, deboned beef, freshly prepared beef) or as a pre-prepared, dry meat meal
(beef meal, dried beef, dehydrated beef). When the ingredient is listed simply as 'beef' it usually refers to the fresh form. Although the quality of beef used in pet
foods can vary, it is generally regarded as a highly digestible, highly palatable meat source for dogs. In the past, some pet food manufacturers had labelled beef as a
problematic meat for dogs but solid evidence is hard to come by.
